I do not want to miss a single step of a project’s creation, from the initial concept to the last elements of post-production. This is why I am the art director. I am obsessed with detail - but in a good way - and I never stand still, especially in my mind. Because each milestone I reach is just the beginning of a new path, right?
Every project must be captivating: this is why creativity for me is strongly bound to the senses. From color composition to lighting and sound design: everything is designed to amaze. I believe that before starting to design, you have to think, attempt and try again. Then the time comes to create something spectacular.
Research and development are the words around which my work revolves. From 3D to post-production, I believe everything comes from discovering new cutting-edge software, techniques and creativity. Otherwise what fun would there be in it? My goal is to always be on the crest of the wave: it is from there that you can see the best views.
To give form to an idea and to feel like a child each time I start a new project with enthusiasm, this is what really drives me to put all of me into what I design. I believe that the alchemy of multiple experiences and points of view, in every step of the 3D pipeline, including modeling, produces something unique, something that evolves and becomes emotion.
A super nerdy character artist with an incredibly broad-ranging knowledge in many different fields. The dedication to my work comes from when I first got my hands on my Super Nintendo. That was the moment I started pursuing my dreams and cultivating my passion, one pixel at a time. The experience bar never ends!
Animating a character means giving it life, creating a soul, a story and feelings. This way I always put a part of me in each one, making every design unique. There is nothing more unreal than recreating reality. Through the simulation of rigid and fluid bodies, I am able to manipulate the laws of physics in order to recreate ever-new perceptions and sensations.
Appassionato delle arti visive e delle emozioni che portano all'ideazione di un'immagine. La mia curiosità mi spinge a ricercare nuove fonti di ispirazione in tutto ciò che mi circonda. Attendo la prossima sfida per mettere alla prova i miei limiti, nel frattempo cerco di imparare qualcosa di nuovo.
Going beyond the real world, conceiving a higher level of reality than the senses limit us to reach: this challenge is what motivates me every day since the beginning of my career as an illustrator. To give life to a concept, I start from references from the real world, with freehand drawing, to arrive at the 3D model, ready for animation. This is how I find rationality in the irrational, to be able to increasingly blur the fine line between reality and imagination.
